The topics we read about can be generally grouped into three categories.
Educational books related to religion and belief
- Books that address the fallacies of religion
- Books that explore the pros/cons of some aspect of religion(s)
- Books on what attracts people to religion
- Books about current developments in a religious movement
- Books describing how to effectively approach these topics with others
Books which foster the atheist community
- Books on the culture and history of atheism
- Books on atheism as a movement/philosophy
- Books related to the scientific method, naturalism, and reason
Books about religion and government
- Books related to the history of the seperation of church and state
- Books about the relationship between religion and government
- Books about the US Constitution and Supreme Court
